Giving Back
Mark Pickens and Clay Millican’s friendship stemmed from a civic project led by Clay which created a new Skate Board Park for the local Memphis community. Both have embraced their good fortunes by giving back to the community through various projects and acts of kindness. Their projects range from relief efforts for the People of Sudan to visiting the U.S. Troops in Iraq.

Clay Millican drove the Hope4Sudan Top Fuel car at the September 26-28 O'Reilly NHRA Midsouth Nationals. At the Memphis race, MPE Motorsports and the Millican team presented to Lauren Pickens, not only a model replica of the Hope4Sudan car, but also a $5000 check made out to Hope4Sudan. MPE has pledged to donate 10% of its winnings to the project. On behalf of Hope4Sudan, Lauren would like to express her appreciation to MPE Motorsports and Clay Millican for their support, generosity and awareness the Millican team has brought to the project.
